Slp Cai???

I think that i'm going to ditch my factory SS ram air box and get a SLP CAI to get rid of some cludder on my intake. My question is how is the performance with the dual tubes of the SLP's compared to the others with one large tube?I really like the look of it but I want to make sure it does'nt rob power.
Thanks,
JE

Re: Slp Cai???

as i have found in my searches, all cai intakes are the same except for the g2. moroso, k&n, slp, Lingenfelter, etc.. all have about the same gains. i'd opt for the slp since it looks the nicest under the hood

it doesnt rob power, there was a slight SOTP increase. I wouldn't buy it again, I'd buy a K&N setup or some other one with one filter instead of two.

Re: Slp Cai???

I would go with a one filter setup as well. Less of a hassle during install and cleaning. If you wanna keep a ram air setup you can do the custom ram air from under the car. I picked up a tenth of a second in the 1/8 just from adding the ram air mod. If you would like more details I am sure there are links to it on here or you can PM/E-mail.
