Interesting, my 95 i think had the slot and the intake i have now is a 97 and it does have ths slot as well.

my 95 intake manifold on the car now does not have the slot, but I am lookin at purchasing a used manifold off a 96 and the slot is there.... so I was just makin sure it wasn't efed with or anything, as i need a bone stock one to port match to my AI heads....

if by slot, do you mean the hole for one of the bolts is cut "open", per say.
i know my 94 has no "slot", but i have a manifold that i was led to beleive came off a 95 and it has a slot
