slight miss/surge

ok so i have had my 1994 z28 for a few months now, when i bought it the tranny was out, i got it for 1300 bux with 160k miles, i put a decent tranny in to find out it didnt run worth a **** either, put new plugs, o2 sensors, icm, coil pack, all plug wires and coil wire, took the distributor off and cleaned it up completely, and it runs good now, but between 1500 an 2500 rpms it misses when its warmed up, plus it doesnt seem to have the power it should, the check engine light is on so i took it to the gm dealership to get a diagnosis and they cant figure it out, the opti is firing just fine, i think im going to try the LTCC setup with ls1 coil packs, i have heard of it being so much more dependable, unless some one can help me figure out whats wrong with my ignition system

thats exactly what mine is doing. if you get it fixed let me know please!!!!!
missing from idle to like 3000rpm and missing power. thats what mine is doing. all this started to happen right after my first track day. best of 14.6 started missing on my first hard launch. after that all my time were in the 15.3 and i jsut kept losing more and more power.
