Really. That kinda discourages me from getting one. The cover is thin and I don't want to grind through. What part of the setup needs clearence? Just the area where the chain gos or the whole sprocket area too? ...oh and what did you use to gring it? A side grinder or a dremmel tool or what?

Mostly around the sprocket areas, a small amount where the chain sits

I used an air tool with a flat zizzwheel, made short work of the soft cover

And I am guessing the shaft for the waterpump will be remaved completly. What size freeze plug do I need to plug the TC cover?

I cant remember. Just bring the cover to the hardware store and have them find one that fits
