six speed race shifting

I just wanted to see at what rpm other guys with m6's shift their cars at while racing. i still have the 3:42's that are stock on the m6 but i always shift around the yellow pattern on the rpm meter.

around 5600 rpm, could probably get a bit more out, but with 83K, not going to chance it.

Are you stock heads and cam?
If you are, the dyno #'s and track times i've seen say to shift at 5800 from 1st to 2nd, and 5700 from then on. HP drops off after that.
