Bret, how much have you seen out of 561s like mine? The guy that ported mine said he could probably get another 5-7 cfm across the board out of mine with a set of Ferrea 6000s (they have REVs right now) and a little more port work...I'm just curious how much they are truely capable of....

94 guy, just sent you a PM on the 643's.

I'll take both sets.

94's have the heads that are good for porting. The lightweight 561's are only on the 96-97 motors.

Are you stocking up on cores, or are all these going directly to customers???

It's just getting hard to find a set of good heads that some of us can send off to you, so we don't have too much down time, that you don't get first, LOL...

Lloyd stocks up on cores so you can buy them from him directly.

What about 374s? Lloyd ported them for me and he said they were better than the heads on my 97.

Oh great so I have the ****ty heads! j/k

Wait...look at these heads I have...they look like the 643's in the picture, not the 561's?

The original person I sent my heads to to port them on another forum screwed up and went through a water jacket. They said they were porting a core set, and not my set...but looking at the pics, it looks like they sent me back a different set?

My car is a '97 and these are the heads I have:

So, what is the casting number inside the head? Look at the 8 digit number between cylinders 1 and 3 (or 8 and 6).

Aluminum sure looks pretty when it is freshly machined.

OK wait...nevermind, these are the heads that came off my car...so I had 643's on my '97? I know the guy who bought the car brand-new...old guy, never touched the engine.

EDIT: I can see "a" number in this pic, can't really read it though:

True true! It's the shape of the intake face of the head that gives it away...compare it to the first picture:
