Hey whats up guys...
well I am actually doing this for a buddy of mine
He has a 93 z28 6spd.
PROBLEM:
His car turns over and stays on while In Neutral but as soon as you shift into
1st to get the car moving the whole cars lifts up as if he is trying to power brake in an automatic and shuts of. If he tries to start the car in 1st the car lifts up again as explained earlier and then shut off...moves only about 3".
What can be his problem? I believe he said he recently replaced his clutch.

ok, it runs in neural, clutch released, but stalls if you put it in gear and let the clutch out?
what about reverse?

I saw my friend this weekend and he showed the part that was broken...
It was round plate...clutch? well 1/4 of it was missing as it broke completely off and this was the reason for the symptons....
