Should I buy underdrive balancer since I need a new one anyway?

Heres the deal awhile back when I took my balancer off I had to knock it off, well I accidently hit the edge and bent it. It was causing my belt to be chewed up. So I tried to straighten it back and it chipped. And I'm worried that this little chip will throw the balance off and hurt my engine. So should I go ahead and get U/D balancer anyway?

Might as well, they're cheaper then stock. I paid around $150 for my ASP underdrive harmonic balancer. Its nice.

I know they don't give much of a gain. I was wondering if I go with overdriven alt. pulley wouldn't this defeat the purpose of the underdrive crank/balancer? Is it neccessary to get the overdriven alt pulley?

I dont like em. Steering is a little harder, a/c is weaker, less power from alt.
