idle is set at 1100, i want it around 800 i havent had it tuned yet, it just has a madZ28 tune, but was tuned for a std. bore 350 ect, im doing the obdI conversion so that i can install my 42lb injectors, and give it a nice tune. id expect atleast 400 out of it as it sits without the 150 shot. the heads are stock ported, they just have some clean up work done on the ports and it also has a 5 angle valve job with manely stainless valves.

400 is expecting a lot out of mediocre ported stock castings.

naw i like it where its at.. maybe a 950-1000 rpm idle but as it sits it sounds great and helps produce abit more vacuum i'm sure. thats a good thing

Just started my lt1 with kooksheaders and corsa exaust, it sounds loud like yours ,I won't have a chance to drive it for awhile. How bad is it to drive yours with the top down?
thanks
