Talking Short Block Rebuilt Kit

I found this place in my area that sells all kinds of engine rebuild kits and parts. What do you think of the price? I can also buy a new engine block hear for a great price. Also with cylinder heads is it a good idea to buy manufactuered heads ($335) or to get mine machined? My car has around 130k on it. My car badly needs and overhaul.

My quote

The link won't work for some reason! Please go to http://www.newengineparts.com then select Find an Engine Rebuild Kit Then select 1993 Pontiac Firebird 5.7L V8 from the next couple of selections. The Kit cost $373, I thought it was a good deal. What do you think?

eh, I assume if you're just doing a rebuilt, it should be alright.

but if you plan on building a real motor, I'd buy parts from a reputable manufacturer.

Since they are close to you, go to their facility and check it out...... Might be a good deal for stock replacement.....
