shiftkit install

shiftkit install

a local tranny shop told me that the tranny needed to come out in order for them to install the kit in this true? im putting in my torque converter this weekend and is it possible for me to install it?

no, the tranny doesn't need to come out. it would be easier to have the tranny flipped (there are more check ***** on top than on the bottom of the plate, and you don't want these to fall out). But as long as you know where they go, and you are careful, you can do it with it in the car.
