Hey guys, Im thinking of buying an SLP short shifter. Just wanted to hear some opinions of guys with them or that have had them? How do you like them? Are they worth the $100? I'll be using it with my Lou's Short stick.

I have the SLP short shifter and lou's short stick. STAY AWAY from the SLP one!!! It sucks A$$ and I'm switching to pro 5.0.

Put it this way, if you like worrying about whether or not you will make it into 3rd from 2nd, then buy a SLP shifter. If you like smooth, effortless shifting, buy a pro 5.0. You get what you pay for.

 

And now for a positive opinion. The SLP shifter is great with the short stick. Extremely short throws, tight feel, never had a prob with the 2-3 shift. I have the SLP "H" **** on mine...great feel.
