Share my excitement!

So when I needed new headers I wanted LT w/emissions but none are available for 93s so I decided to go with nonemission headers and the LT4 hotcam to still pass emissions. However after talking with my mechanic who has an impressive record with F-bodies (LS1 turbo, 383 LT1 and a couple of head and cam installs) he said that the cam was a piece. I new that it was small and that I would probley only get about 350 at the wheels with all the bolt ons and a really good tune but I didn't care. So now he said he would personally find me a cam that would work really good in the car. I know all about the cc305 which is what I kind of want and the cc306 but stock bottom end and 6500rpms doesn't make me feel that comfortable, so we will see what he thinks is best. The car goes in next week and I couldn't be more excited but the $1400 bill will sure take some of it away.

Make sure he understands you still need to pass emmissions so he doesn't go too crazy on the cam.

Fun times!

Cam and longtubes should make for a little more driving enjoyment!
