I was jumping my friend and i hear a ticking coming from my passenger side. I thought it mite be exhaust gasket leak so I take a quick look, and i see my plug wire wiggling. I touch it and all of a sudden i get burned by hot exhaust fumes. Cant feel my fingertip right now, but apparently my spark plug has vibrated out. I have to go pick up a socket so I can change them out, but any ideas on what can happen if it has not been in there for a while? Im so pissed off right now.

I'm sure you lost some power and fuel economy by it being loose.

 

how did you burn your finger if there was no spark to ignite the gas from that cylinder

 

Heat = Burn.

I think 2 year olds know this concept.

 

I guess it wasn't out all the way. The boot was still connected to it. I fixed that plug, but now I am stuck on the damn #2, and my socket has fallen into an abyss and I have to find it now.

 

alright i thought you said it was out and you burnt your finger when you put your finger over the sparkplug hole
