Since I can't get the car scanned until tomorrow or the next day, I was wondering what accessory under the hood when activated creates a whirring noise (similar to the air compressor, which its not because I pulled the relay for it) and can trigger an SES light? Recently removed AIR pump and lines as well as EGR valve, solenoid still intact.

Could be the fans as they come on when the SES is on.

 

That's definetly what it is then. It sounds like the fans, and they only run for about two minutes then the light turns off.
