Starting 2 days ago, my SES light and cooling fans starting coming on. They only come on while im driving, and then turn off when im stopped at a light or parked. After i pull away from a light, the light and fan come back on. Another thing is that the car is never at a very hot temperature. Car normally runs around 180-210*.

I went and scanned the car today and it said "Fan 1 electrical fault". I checked the relays for the fans and the terminals seemed clean so i dont think there is an issue there. Any help is appreciated!

 

check the connectors going to the fan, or it could be that the fan is taking a crap on you.

 

Alright, i'll check that next. I installed a manual fan switch about 3 weeks ago and everything is hooked up perfectly on that. Ground, and such. I have LED's hooked up to show which speed is on, and when the fan turns on by itself (and not with switch), the LED's light up. Dont know if that will help, just thought i'd add.
