I recently put a transmission in a 97Z28 wasnt the original one. which is causing the ses light to come. the code coming up says that the problem is the transmission manfacturer control. How do I fix this and get the light off.

The car is a 97 Z28.
the code is 0196 I believe. Just says transmission manufacturer control.
I put a tranny in from another car dont know what car exactly, But it is a 4L60-E this is all I know really.
