Angry Ses Light

Ok, help. This came on tonite. Why do you think that is? I just changed the oil. The pressure and temp were fine, then the light came on. This hasn't happened before, so I would appreciate some input.

Thanks.

I hate to say but that is way to little info to even guess. Do you have a scanner or know what number the code is?

I've a 95Z and my SES light was comin on and off randomly. Fans would kick in immediatelly.

it turned out to be Code 32. EGR failure. (I forgot to reconect the vacum line back to the EGR ).

My point being, your problem may be really simple. Get yourself a good scanner..

If you have and OBD1 car with a OBD2 plug they don't have the conector to scan it with. I had to use 2 jumper wires back when my car was still OBD1.

Thank you, Marvin. That was very kind.

I went to AutoZone today and they were unable to scan it. They tried and tried and kept getting "LINK ERROR" on the display. Guess it's dealership time.

Thank you all so much for your help!
