Angry Ses

well i bought this car and i posted a couple thrends on here about my hesitation...and not having a ses light...so i decided to just take it to autozone...they scaned it and came up with a P1441.....well then why the heck isnt my light coming on???? i found out why.....i took my dash out and guess what....the soldered bulb is missing...someone wiggled it till it broke off so that they didnt have to drive around with the light on and so they didnt have to sell it with a light on! now....i bought this car july3 2003.... so 2 weeks ago today....what should i do..tell him? it was a dealer....but the car was sold as is? i mean...i am planning on fixing it....but is there something he can do to make this right with me??help me out guys!!!
plus what is the p1441....the kid at autozone said its cuz my gas cap isnt on tight i said i always click it! and i know i have some cracky vac lines on the solinoids for vac and egr...so i am gonna replace those and if those ont work ill replace the sol. itself! thanx for reading this!

Hi there, Well the best advice i can give to u is just and go and talk to the dealer about your situation, and make them scan it for free, (I mean hey u can be like i bought this car from you and if u want me to come back, then u know..) but be nice about it and all.

If the dealer bought the car from you with an ses light removed, Im almost positive he would have to know about it. Im sure dealers scan cars before they put them up for sale, just to make sure eveythings right, its not like it costs them money they have the equipment. If they dont, then they should. That could be accountable for an automobile lemon law, so he would have to at least fix the light for free, and maybe if you talk him into it the problem
