servicing my 6-speed?

I've had my car for 4 years now and have never done anything to my 6M transmission. Is there any maintenance I should be attending to? Also, when I race the car the gears feel very tight after the run....I think it's my clutch not totally disingaging...when I just cruise around town the gears shift fine.....anyone ever heard of this??

how many miles have you driven it since youve owned it?
edit: tranny fluid should be checked every 15k or so...its recommended to change it every 100k but i would change it every 15k since i dont drive like my grandmother....its cheap insurance

I dont mean to steal the thread, but is it normal for the gears to come in and out while the car is off? I mean........when the car is off......i can shift all the gears without hitting the clutch? normal????

okay stupid question time...i can see how you drain it, just undo the plug on the side....but how do you put fluid back in. The way the tranny is positioned it doesn't allow you to tip a bottle upright to allow fluid to pour back into the tranny........??

when I did mine I used some kind of pump that my dad had laying around at his work... it attached right to the bottle of oil, made that step a lot easier They probably carry them at the local auto parts stores for a few $
