Sepentine or V belt?

Hello!
I had my car in the shop for a little bit of work done on it. They said my alternate belt was cracking and that I might need a tranny flush.
They are extremley expensive ( went to them cause they are 3 feet from work), so I am going to have my companys mechanic fix the alternate belt.

I was on kragen online, cause I need to order this tonight or first thing tomorrow morning and I am not sure whether I need a serpentine belt or a V-Rib belt?

My car is a sepentine belt system (I guess, I could be wrong, I am still trying to learn a bit about cars :P ) but on the estimate on the mechanic's shop it said they would order a V belt?

I just want to make sure I order the right belt, is this it:

There is also this one but I dont know the difference:

Which one do I need/

Thanks alot!

Jason

Re: Sepentine or V belt?

The LT1 has one belt and its a serpentine belt. No V-belt.

Ya I realise that but they were a small difference in size is what threw me off. They showed me the difference in store, one better quality, one not as good quality.
