my securety light is flashing when i try to start my car. sugestions??

The Passkey system is not reading your key. Could be the key, key cylinder or wiring from the column to the Passkey module.

Try cleaning the key or use another key. Some electrical cleaner sprayed in the key cylinder might be what you need.

 

tired cleaning.. still nothing i got a new cylinder and keys now how do i put it in???

 

When this happened to me I disconnected the battery for a few seconds. Car started right up.
