secondary air valve pipe!!

in a way shocked at how ridiculous it is to get this piping off from around the timing cover. It seems the only way to get the pipe out it so lift up one side of the motor IMO. any other ways you guys know of?

A lot of people just cut it into sections with a dremel. And I agree, those pipes are somethimng else. If you need it intact to re-install, then have fun getting it off.

If you cut it in the middle, under the crank, you should be able to get it out. Even the GM manual suggests this. If it needs to be put back, it can be joined together with a rubber hose.

Yep. Just cut it off. There is no way to remove it without cutting it.
