seat pressure and stock valves
seat pressure and stock valves
heres what i have cc306, cc beehive springs matching locks retainers and pushrods. right now the seat pressure is 140. is this too much for stock valves? the springs advertise a seat pressure of 130. i dont want to have to little though and cause valve float, so any help would be appreciated
140 seat should keep that cam stable to 6800 RPM.
It is NOT too much for the stock valves and some run solid rollers on stock valves with 225 seat/550 open. I have ran 155-165 seat and 420-460 lbs open on billet cams and never had a valve problem.
