putting a motor together for a customer with a new msd opti. I can not get it to slide on past the bolts. I know that the pin is started but must hit one or all the bolts on the end of the cam??? I know I have every thing else right, this isn't that hard to do... Any one else had this problem?? Any word of help??

 

How about the length of the dowel pin? Is is a stock cam?

 

Its a comp cam. I have the same one in my car, but I have the GM opti. I tried to put his old opti on (GM) and it slides right on??

 

I'd compare both opti's
