Seals in question when replacing the Optispark - Experts?
Yesterday I ordered the seals (Water pump and Optispark to Camshaft?) seal from the dealer. I was recommended by several board members to replace them while I'm in there so I am doing so.
My question is... Do they pop out easily with a "standard" seal remover? Are they re-installed dry or with some type of grease? Any tips/tricks or DO's or Don'ts when doing so?
Once again many thanks to all who have given input on this endeavor of mine.
BTW.. I bought a NEW Optispark unit. I was going to replace just the cap and rotor but I said screw it and bought the complete unit as a whole. I don't want to do this again anytime soon!

You shoud've got the crank seal as well. I don't know what a seal remover looks like, but these seals come out easy when you hit them from behind with a flat screw driver. The seals are installed dry, some poeple use a little bit of RTV on the sides.
