is this sctach a big threat on the head?

the far right cc....
One engine builder told me that is not acceptable, and these heads are garbage... the 1st thing when he said these heads were was 'these heads arent smooth, they need to be resurfaced' well the drag motor builder told me this is perfectly fine, and looks level, u dont want it to be smooth, but u want it to be level... u want some sort of RA on it, so that it bites into the gasket... also he told me the coolant lines (at the bottom area) well were welded, and thats not good either... also told me the cc wall spacing is too narrow, and it will leak....
there also seems to be what seems like 'tinnnnyyyy nicks' on the head surface area, and my engine builder told me they will create hot spots, then i took it to a drag motor builder, and he told me those marks can create detonation, but he can work on them, and the nicks will not create hotspots, but they would if they were bumps instead....
what do you think?

Re: is this sctach a big threat on the head?
Its fine dude don't even sweat it, look at the stock head, in the CC just beside the spark plug you have that lump that is pointy, you would think if anything that would create a hotspot, but it doesn't, plus an indent will not do this, but only a sharp tip would.
Think of it this way, this is an alluminum head, your spark plug has much sharper electrode/tip on it and it's not alluminum so its even worse but its ok, I think its mostly with iron heads or real big indents, and if you have a valve that has rough edges.
the scratch on the CC there has no gasket either so its fine.
one of the cc's does have a scratch were the ring sits I highly doubt it would cause any trouble to tell you the truth, the soft ring will more then make up for it I would think.
If it makes you feel better, a long time ago on my frist LT1 which was a 93 trans am, I put some GTP heads on and just at the back on the driver's cyclinder head you have that wiring harness, well it had a stock zap strap, being my first time doing any car work at that time I didn't feel around the head when I put it on before bolting it up, so the zap strap got in between the block/head and sat right on the head gasket ring, I noticed that and was worried as heck, she ran for a while like this LOL no problem, and that worse cuz the plastic yo uwould think would melt away and the ring left, well I took the heads off one day and everything looked fine, the zap strap came out
Needless to say I would give it a shot, if anything it's only 1 head gasket you would go through, install isn't that tough and I'd do it before throwing out the heads, I really feel its nothing to worry about.
Also, if you are, get it welded and file it down, but I wouldn't even bother, just use fel pro 1074 head gakets, they have a very soft ring on them for use with alluminum heads, they look like they will take any shape, plus they have those blue seal/rtv type roundings beside all the cooling ports so thats cool to help.
They look more then fine, finish them off and make them play, who knows I"ve seen some peeps who though their heads were ruined, go them half a$$ fixed up and sort of wondered should I put them on or not? Then they put them on, and with luck they make over 400RWHP while the guy with a shiny set is making 370 rwhp, which head would you choose
?

My heads looked way worse then that when they played ping pong with a washer that I dropped into a intake runner.
They just weld up the damage and mill it smooth. Shouldnt be a problem at all.
