Scraping sound coming from my oil pan/flywheel area HELP!!!
So I've had my 94 camaro that has a 95 lt1 motor dropped in It by the previous owner needless to say I'm slowly fixing the mistakes they made I'm just about done with the suspension work ( lower ball joint and springs are all that's left) my new problem is now a mystery to me I've been getting this metal scraping sound coming from behind my oil pan around my flywheel with no visible damage to the flywheel I'm at a loss for what it could be my car has an automatic tran and you can hear it constantly even when idling and it gets louder when I accelerate any ideas I'm sort of a green horn to this and learning on my own but I need to fix this before real damage is done besides the fact that it is embarrassing heelllllpppp!!!!

Take off the dust shield/converter cover/whatever you want to call it and see if the noise goes away. It's probably touching the flywheel or starter. Pretty common to bend it up if it's been out alot.
