SCAT 3.75 crank ver forged

What are the limits to the SCAt crank. It seens like i could save a good chunk of money on the SCAT over forged.. Looking to get close to 450-500 at the motor. But can a SCAT handle a small load of nitrous? What are the limits to the SCAT 9000 crank?

A Scat 9000 can easily take 500-600hp, it's going to take a good amount of power on a street car since you are not turning high RPM with it the whole time you use it.

With 500hp NA and a 150shot you should be ok with the Scat 9000 crankshaft. The ultimate insurance is to upgrade to a Scat 4340 Forged crank and never worry about it. I've seen Callies, Eagle, Crower 4340 cranks and any Scat I've seen matches up with the quality of a Callies. If you want to go to a 396 the Callies is the only deal in town!
