scared the hell out of me

I was tightening the plugs on my back from feel only. I got what i thought was close and then it wouldn't tighten. I kept going looking for snug and then it was like it was loose. I thought i stripped the threads and was sick to my stomach. Turns out i took a break in the middle and was actually loosing it and not tightening. I was so relieved that i had a smile for 5 minutes. Any one else do something so stupid that you got excited when you found out you did something so stupid.

I sat under my car in the rain for like 10 mins untill I relized that I had turned the oil pan drain plug the wrong way and striped it. I wondred why it was so tight! Ya that was not a good morning, should of stayed in bed!

Not so much what I have done to the car as much as in it. I have been caught (more than once) not paying attention at a light and when the car next to me starts moving forward. I jam on the brake super hard becuase my car has started rolling backwards for no reason.

Shouldn't this be in the lounge??

I'm sure I've done something like that before, I take alot of breaks during aggravating jobs, such as plug changes.

One time I was changing plugs, and I usually throw the old ones on the ground and pick them up when i'm done, well I forgot to do that.. so when I went to grab for a new plug I must have picked up a old one and put the it back in , just so happened to be the number 2 cylinder.
