rings brittle

With Cam and heads? They got lucky!! I had a 306 cam with head work and sprayed 150 and melted pistons and rings.

No, my advice to the original user was to spray it *instead* of throwing a cam in it.

Not heads/cam PLUS spray.

agree...

I can agree with that! I have seen allot of LT's take 100 shot at over 100K
just not with other work done as well.

Thats a relief. I was reading this and am about to start spraying a 100 shot on my 130k mile motor and u had me worried. But I think I will be fine on spray only with all the safety features I am getting.
