Just wondering where you all have mounted your scanmasters? I installed my buddies a few weekends ago in the vent above the radio, but I kinda wanted a new place for it. I have 2 gauges in the cd rack under the radio so there is no room there. Please post some pics of your installs or give some ideas.

I think in the Camaro it looks best in that vent above the radio. That is where mine is, and it looks sharp. I can't think of a better place!

 

For a Z28 with the oblong vents, I think it looks killer there but for a TA....I like it where I have mine mounted (on the panel, above factory tach and speedo.

Thanks guys I think im just going to mount it in the vent where most people have it. It does look great in my friends car.

 

I've never seen a picture of it mounted in the vent. I was wondering if someone had one?

Mine's mounted on the far left on top of the dash where it can be seen without taking your eyes off of the road. It's velcroed in place and doesn't budge. The wires are run down under the dash and are all hidden. (It was there when I bought the car, so I can't claim the idea.)

 

the vent is really the best location for your interior but if you had a 97 then id say put here like i did
