Scan from N2O run...

It wasn't a run down the track, it was on the street (still had some in the line when I left the track), but it was long enough to get a scan. Everything looks OK to me, but I'm not an expert on it so can someone take a look and let me know.

Here’s the info from the capture, if you need something else let me know. Thanks

RPM: 4000RPM
MAP: 4.76 volts
Left Oxy: 946
Right Oxy: 963
Spark Adv: 35*
Knock retard: 9*

There's allot of other stuff on here, just not sure what you would need to see.

I assume that was done at WOT. I don't think you should be seeing any knock retard...

9* is alot of retard.....you may have some detonation. Do you have any NA runs to compare to. You may want to try some 100 oct unleades and see if that helps.....and if it does you will know you have detonation with lower octane fuel in which case youll want to pull timing.

I guess the 35* is shown without the retard...are you running the stock timing?

Were the timing advance and the retard data points both from the same "frame" of data? If so, you appear to be running too much timing. The scan should show actual PCM timing setting, which is the value from the map minus any retard. What does your timing map look like at WOT/4000rpm? 44deg would be too much.

Yes it was at WOT with a Autoxray, so I don't no what the map looks like. I'll have to do a NA run and see what it comes up with. A guy I know did some tuning a while ago, and I'm not real sure what all he did, I asked him to look into it, but I think I'm getting some detonation.

You dont want to run anymore timing than the stock tables if your spraying.....While Autoxray is a handy little tool I would recomend getting a laptop, cable , and Datamaster to monitor your runs with. Software such as Tunercat would allow you to read your pcm and check the tables yourself as well as make changes.
