SBC head reverse coolant conversion
SBC head reverse coolant conversion
Is there anyone that can post pics of how the bottom of the sbc heads look after they are modified??
maybe LME in texas or Harden Motorsports in indiana can chime in here and post what their work looks like finished
if anyone has a set done and the ability to take pic to post online or let me know asap please!

Re: SBC head reverse coolant conversion
They look like LT-1 heads. I sent an old head when mine were converted.
It is quite involved and getting the oil return tube hole bored correctly and installed without leaks is a job. It goes through the water jacket.

Re: SBC head reverse coolant conversion
no sh*t pat...lol i would have never guessed
i am looking to see the workmanship...or lack there of
visually what i am looking for is:
what is done for sealing the old oil drian back hole? weld and machine? thread and a pipe plug??
are the coolant holes drilled out in the bottom around the combustion chamer?
and are the coolant passages near the oil drain back opened up and massaged at all?
i would just like a visual aid but those are basically what i am looking for. the conversion could be done in a couple nights here at work instead of being told 2 weeks and waiting a couple months...
