?'s about re-installing my tranny
?'s about re-installing my tranny
I have a question about the clutchfork. When we took everything off, My buddy was helping me and he works at his grandpa's shop so he knows how everything comes apart and goes together, but I am on my own this time and I don't know how the clutchfork goes on.
There is a little bolt with a "T" piece of metal on it.
Where/how does that go on the clutchfork and tranny?
When do I put the clutchfork on?
Thanks,
Justin

Re: ?'s about re-installing my tranny
The "T" piece is the pivot point for the fork. The fork should be pulled as far out as possible for the install. Once the tranny is bolted in place, the fork is push in and "clips" onto the "T" piece and is now engaging the throw out bearing. If the "T" piece has been removed from the tranny housing, be sure to use loctite as this bolt can vibrate out over time.
