rwhp guesses anyone?

Hey guys,
My car is finally together and getting dyno-tuned in about a week. I did all the work on it and hope that it will produce good #'s. A lot of you guys really know your stuff about LT1's, so I will list my mods below and and predictions as to what kinda rwhp and tq #'s I can expect would be greatly appreciated. Just wanted to know what you guys think I should put down so I know if I should be mad or happy with the results when I get them soon:

1997 Z-28, with 350 LT1
-Forged dished pistons, H-Beam forged rods, compression lowered to 9.5:1.
-Vortech S-Trim Supercharger, non-intercooled, currently at 6 lbs. of boost.
-LE2 heads/cam cam package.
-Stock tranny, A4 w/ Hughes 3,000 stall convertor, shift-kit, 3:73 rear gears.
-Comp. 7/16" 1.6 NSA Rockers w/ pushrods and guideplates.
-52 mm BBK throttle body.
-Pacesetter Long-Tube headers, no cats, Y-pipe, SLP loudmouth cat-back.
-T-Rex in-line fuel pump, 36 lb. Venum injectors (do I need bigger ones?)
-MSD Wires, HI-6R Ignition, custom dyno-tune, and I think thats it!

**Like I said, any estimates from you "experts" are appreciated so I have something to base my results on. thanx in advance

Dude!!!! you are going to toast that 4l60e in no time. A blower and le2 package equals its eminent doom.

Id throw out a ball park guess of around low 600's rwhp.

Anyway you look at it your tranny is gonna take a dump. Stock driveshaft is no good either along with the mighty ten bolt. Even though they get preloaded Id be afraid to do anything over idle.

Re: rwhp guesses anyone?

I realize my drive-train will live a pretty short life, and am prepared to invest in this soon. Just kinda broke right now from everything I did over the winter. But, I don't think I'll be making anywhere close to the power that your suggesting. With only 6 psi. of boost, I wouldn't think it would even break the 500 mark, I was actually thinkin somewhere around 450 RWHP. Anyone else have thoughts on what the #'s will be?

Actually I was meaning to write 500's but I typoed. Still though the le2 package is very very nasty and has proven it makes a ton of power.

Re: rwhp guesses anyone?

I would go with some bigger injectors, at thevery minimum 42's. Also, your most likely not going to see 6psi on your setup do your more effcient heads and intake. Not to say thats a bad thing but just to give you a heads up of what to expect. Also liek the above stated your going to want to get that tranny built to take the abuse. Also wouldnt be a bad idea to get alky/methanol cooler to help out with those iat's. Im goona guess 450-470rwhp depending on how much timing your able to give it and how fast those inejectors will max out. Goodluck

Ya, I was thinkin of doing methanol injection, but will prolly wait for that till I wanna up the boost. But that is not till after tranny, rear-end build etc. Hopefully the drive-train makes it for a little while since the car only has 25K on it. The guy who does my tuning says he is hoping to get around 470 rwhp out of it.

Re: rwhp guesses anyone?

There are guys getting 450+ rwhp out of naturally aspirated LE2 setups. Low compression + 6psi and you could be looking at well over 500.

That said, I'm an LS1 guy and certainly no expert on this matter.

Awesome car. Welcome to the boards! Let us know when you get it to the track.

What's your location?

Re: rwhp guesses anyone?

I'm from the Buffalo, NY area. Really? - I wouldnt expect an A4 to get over the 400 mark with an LE2 pkg., but I guess its possible. Maybe I should be expecting more, I guess we will just have to wait and see
