runs fine then runs rich and rough
runs fine then runs rich and rough
Ive tried this issue before, I will try again, 95 LT1 idles fine, then at about 100 degrees starts to run rough, I can clean it out and its idles for a few minutes and starts to run rough again. I eliminated the smog pump, the 02's run at abou .93 volts, its been like this for about a few months (.93 vdc) but just started the rough running. I installed nitrous, thought aI had a bad 02 changed on from the local parts store, can the new 02 be wrong? I replaced the old one and same results. My auto x ray should be tommarrow to check the codes, just thought you guys could shed mnore light on the subject. I just sent Ion my spare pcm for reprogramming, should get it back this week.
Any ideas????

Just a thought but, how do you know it's running rich after it warms up? Remember the computer richens it up at cold start and then cuts back at closed loop. Maybe you are running lean in closed loop.
I have yet to find an aftermarket O2 to work. I wouldn't buy them. Especially Bosch in my P-up.
I hate to sound like a broken record but have you checked the IAC and the EGR. Both can make rough idles. check the fuel pressure at idle with and with out the regulator and at WOT with regulator of course. Replace your fuel filter if you haven't done so. Last have your injectors professionally cleaned. Through the fuel rail. All easy things to do that should be done routinely anyway.
Sorry not formiliar with what you may have done already. Good luck to you.
