Running wires from pod gauges....

I got my pod going in with Trans temp and Oil temp. I was just wondering where you guys ran the wires to get into the engine bay.. I checked Shoe's site and was wondering if had to go through the passenger side.

I drilled a hole in the firewall near the brake piston rod. It has become very usefull for running wires to the engine. They will come out right behind the brake booster. If you make a hole in the firewall be sure to seal it up. I just stick a caulking gun in there and fire away till I see no light coming through.

Your other choice which would require longer wires to get to the engine would be to go to the gromet on the passenger side... I opted not to use the gromet only because I have a 0 gauge power wire for my stereo running through it but for sender wires for gauges they would fit through no problem.

Did you drill from the engine compartment??? or from the interior to the engine compartment? My motor is out so I was just figuring which way to go.

With the motor out I don't think it should matter... Just make sure you use some strong drill bits as I broke three before I borrowed my friend's titanium bits and 18 volt drill. Just so you know, I drilled from in the car but you can do it either way, just make sure you are not drilling into anything.
