Will I foul all my new plugs if I drive .5 miles w/ no 02's plugged in. I know it will run rich but will that cause them to foul?

 

Don't they run in open loop when first started . So its not looking at the o2s in open loop.

 

As long as the open loop part of the tune is not ridiculously off it should be fine.

And - you don't know it will run rich. Could run lean; could run perfect.

Most likely it will run rich under some conditions and lean under others and perfect under yet others. Just like the cars of yore...

 

as bad as the $5 a gallon you have to waste but it can be done and for a while but it will kill your tank a little faster then before.
