Running solid lifters on a hydraulic cam (roller)

I am going to try running some solid rollers on my cam (GM 847) what lash do you reccomend and what lifters are the best?

A freind of mine Knows a guy that has done this and he said he ran a really tight lash, If I remember right he said it was like .006.
Would this be too little or what you would want?
