Running round outlet headers on D port LT1 heads?

Installing a 95 LT1 engine in a streetrod, can I run generic shorter round port headers on the D port aluminum heads? (O2 sensors in collectors & knock sensor re-located)

Thanks

That's not going to hurt anything, just make sure you don't have any exhaust leaks at the head or collector, or that will give you problems you won't be able to figure out.

Where are you relocating the knock sensor to?

I have both stainless hugger and 88-94 Chevy 1500 truck stainless (new)headers. If I use the huggers, will relocate the knock on the drivers side near the oil plug hole above the filter, or open up the unused hole below the #7 cylinder (did that with my 33 Chevy TPI'd engine)

May just leave the knock where it is and use the truck headers since they look pretty good and already have one O2 bung.
