a couple of days ago it rained really bad.... all the streets were flooded but i did not drive through them. Earlier that day i had changed out a bad o2 sensor. I got home ok, and the last couple of days the car has been running a lil rough.

Im guessing the opti got a lil moisture insdide; when i run the car at first it idles ok, but as soon as i head on the road and put it on a load, it bogs, and sometimes throws a misfire SES light (flashes).... it goes away after driving it for a couple of minutes...

so what do you guys think??? I think the opti got a lil moisture inside, anyway that i can take it out?? ITs a 96 so its a vented opti. BTW the GM opti is less than 2 years old.

 

It could be opti related, but it could also be another part of the ignition system such as the wires that are at fault.
