Question Running Lean...

I had my car Dynoed on Friday and they took an A/F reading as well. I was pretty happy with the number it put down for the limited amount of mods I have: 296.9HP and 313TQ. The problem was it was running lean, right around 14. I have a tune from PCM for less, but my Accel ignition bow went out today. Could that have been the problem, or do I need to get hold of Bryan and have him richen up the tune?

Re: Running Lean...

My car runs a little lean on the dyno as well. I have factory tuning though, so Im not going to worry about it untill I do a heads a cam swap. In your case, I would probably talk to Bryan and ask him about it. I dont think your ignition would cause a lean condition. It probably just needs a little more fine tuning.

That's pretty much what Bryan said. He's gonna hook it up for me.
