Running Car with blown head gasket?

What kind of damage can be caused by running my camaro with a blown head gasket only for maybe a minute or two at a time to move it around? I've had to move it twice but only for about 20-30 seconds at a time.

At this point I don't think it'll make much difference.

Might want to drain the water to make sure it doesn't hydraulic.

I think it depends where and how bad its leaking. If you are getting coolant in the oil then you may ruin the bearings but if its just a small leak into a cylinder then you could drive it a long time without any real problem... unless the leak gets worse or burn off all the coolant that is. So its all about the degree of leakage and where its leaking that will determine any potential harm to the motor.

I had a bent valve, no head gasket, loss of compression and I could move it but since it was the intake the cyl had been washed down with gas. Just watch for the coolant.

Ive heard that dex-cool in your oil will eat up your bearings.

It would be a good idea to drain the coolant from your block. At the least take off the radiator cap so the system doesn't pressurize.
