rubber bushings on front calipers, causing guide pins to stick

the rubber bushings on the front calipers are letting dirt and crap into the guide pins so that they get stuck.

i can fix it by taking the guide pins out, spraying everything down with brake cleaner, then re-greesing it and putting it back together but 2 weeks later its pulling to one direction again.

how do i fix this? the rebuild kits i've seen don't include these bushings.

Brake parts like guide pins and guide pin boots are nearly always available from the dealer. If they are getting to the point where they are getting stuck, I would just replace them. Hope that helps.

Are you talking about the rubber tubes? If so, I picked up mine from AutoZone.

The old ones were a big pain to get out of the caliper. I ended up using and a pointed screwdriver to dig into it an pry it out (and a tetanous shot the next morning, don't ask). Be sure and grease up the new ones really good with some high temp silicone, so they will slide back in easier.
