RTV on Header Gaskets ?

RTV on Header Gaskets ?
Do I apply RTV sealant (spray or tube form?) to the header gaskets, head and header when putting on the new headers? Or do i leave this off since i have copper gaskets ?

If your header flange is flat, you shouldn't need any RTV sealant. IMO RTV sealant is like a bandaid anyway, if you need it, it's not going to last forever and will eventually blow out.

when you say header flange you meen where the header bolts to the head correct. i have MAC headers (which arnt in yet) and copper gaskets, you think ill need the RTV?
