rpm/mph calculator for gear ratio
Is there any info on to tell what gear ratio u have without pulling the rear end cover off? example (80 mph 3000 rpms) my buddy bought a diff rear end for his car and his speedo is off thanks

Auto car: 70MPH in 3rd gear RPM/1000
Manual car: 70MPH in 4th gear RPM/1000
Or, jack the rear end up mark a point on one of the tires and count how many revolutions the driveshaft makes to make the tire go completely around one time.

Gp tp www.smokemup.com/auto_math/mph_range2.php this site will give you all kinds of auto "math" to figure out quarter mile times, gear ratios, tire sizes and a whole lot more
