Routing Msd Super Cond. Wires... HELP
Routing Msd Super Cond. Wires... HELP
How did you guys do this? Im trying to route my new msd super conductors and obviously the stock looms didn't work. Where did you route the passenger side wires? I can't figure out a good way to help. Any info or pics would be great
Re: Routing Msd Super Cond. Wires... HELP
I have the same wires as you do. (if i remember right...) What I did was route one of the wires behind the alternator, then I took the alternator off and place the remaining three wires under it and insulated them with wire loom. The wires come really close to hitting one of the pulleys, so I pulled them as tight as i could so they wouldnt move any. I haven't had a problem yet, and its been almost 10K. Also, if you have the money, ive seen a kit you can buy that will allow you to route your wires over the top of the valve covers. Its something I will probibly buy in the future. Good luck!

You basically have to turn them 90degrees and go up to the top of the engine with them. They have to route between the side of the waterpump and the aluminum accessory bracket
Re: Routing Msd Super Cond. Wires... HELP
I did it just the way Mike did.
Number 2 you route in the stock location and use a zip tie to keep it in place, the rest I routed through the bracket straight to the opti. You need to wrap them with wire loom so they don,t rub on the bracket.
Has worked fine for me for 26k and I have Hooker LTs.
