Rough idle

Rough idle
Hello
My car has a rough idle it will idle smooth for 3 or 4 sec then go rough and shake for a split sec then smooth then rough and so on and on i am getting ready for a supercharger and want everything to be in tip top shape so that i dont hurt the moter with the supercharger could it be the computer pcmsforless redid it i have the hot cam kit in but i dont think it should idle the way it does. anythink to help please
