I've heard 1.7RR will fit an LT1. I am currently getting mine stroked, so I am getting the parts. I was going with 1.6, until I heard about 1.7s fitting. Also, is self-aligning or non-self aligning better?

 

You have to make sure your springs can handle the lift, it not they will bind and a lot of damage will occur (well alot of damage happened to me when that happened)

Non Self-Alighing is better for high revving engines since you have to use guideplates and its safer i think.
